I imagined MozCon would be a lot like my childhood summer camp experience. I’d sit awkwardly in a room of other awkward people passing around a beach ball stating my name and where I was from. I’d eat horrible cafeteria food and find solace in the only other wallflower at the evening social. And I was ok with that, because it’s Moz. I knew I would come home with some golden nuggets, and the torture of an adult summer camp would be worth it.
Over the past 3 years of being in business, we’ve had a total of seven offices. In chronological order, our first six offices were:

- A bedroom in Boulder (April 2011 – July 2011)
- A 170 sq. ft. subleased room (July 2011 – February 2012)
- A 250 sq. ft. basement office (February 2012 – August 2012)
- Our rented 3 bedroom townhome (August 2012 – January 2013)
- A 950 sq. ft. office (January 2013 – November 2013)
It seems like it was just yesterday when we were sending out invite codes from our bedroom, working with the first handful of beta testers in the summer of 2011. Three years later, we’re starting to build a team to see Rafflecopter realize its bigger vision.
Welcome to this week’s Rafflecopter Brand Showcase. Last week, you were introduced to the folks at Outrageous Baking. This week, we’re excited to introduce you to a company that we’ve worked with a lot over the past year: My Wonderful Walls.
The move across country is complete. We’ve landed in Boulder, CO and have started where we left off. As we approach our first product release, we’ll be reaching out to you who have signed up on the site at Rafflecopter.com or who we have talked to. We’re very excited to release this to you in the upcoming month.
Of course, if you’re reading this and are still interested in being part of our alpha test, please feel free to sign up or shoot me an email at email@example.com. We’re always happy to chat and hear more about how we might be able to help you!
And yes, Shiner made the trip safe and sound too. Some dogs have a hard time sitting in a car and living in hotel rooms for 5 days, but not him. He’s happily settled down @ Rafflecopter HQ :)
