Put on your #partyhats! *<]:-)
Yesterday, Rafflecopter hit the ‘100,000 giveaways created‘ milestone. Everyone from bloggers to retailers to NFL stars have used Rafflecopter over the past 9 months. But it’s still business as usual at Rafflecopter HQs. Here’s what you can look forward to in February.
Giveaway – One Week Left!
The Rafflecopter iPad2/Kindle Fire giveaway has a little more than a week left. There’s still time left to enter and to help name our Rafflecopter mascot. Once the giveaway has ended, we’ll be choosing the best names and bringing it to a vote on Facebook in the middle of the month.
Get Further Acquainted :)
We also wrote a post recently on how we recommend to pick a winner with Rafflecopter.
To get even further acquainted, several videos will be created this month demoing Rafflecopter for both folks creating giveaways as well as folks entering. Stay tuned!
Free – Always and Forever
Since Rafflecopter was released, the intention was to keep it free, and we intend to keep it that way. Just as discussed in the original article, we plan on building some advanced features that we’d charge for. We’re also considering a Facebook app (boo to using 3rd party iFrames!). If you have any ideas on what you’d like to see, let us know: http://www.rafflecopter.com/xtras/
For those of you who are new to Rafflecopter, we ran an ‘advertiser pilot program‘ for three months starting in August where bloggers and brands were matched w/ one another – we plan on bringing this back as well! Over the next several weeks, we’ll be sending out some more info and some surveys.
If you’re a blog and want to be included in further discussion, fill out the Google doc at the end of this page.
If you’re a brand that’s interested, this is the page for you: http://brands.rafflecopter.com/
